Partnerships between AISF families and AISF educators are a hallmark of education at the American International School of Freetown. Our school’s Beliefs make this commitment clear.
We believe that:
- Respect for everyone’s progress, and care for their safety and wellbeing, are essential for a successful and interactive learning environment.
- The diversity of our community enriches our learning experience, and develops global perspectives.
- Each member of our community is both a teacher and a learner, participating in an ongoing process of self-realization.
- Collaboration and teamwork are vital for progress in an ever-changing, interconnected world.
Our community includes parents and all family members, students, teachers, admin, the AISF Board, support staff, and maintenance staff. All of us are united in common purpose to support learning at our school. Parents are welcome in AISF classrooms. Teachers are always available for conversations and meetings with parents. Families can make an appointment with Admin Assistant Saidu Conteh at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 076 622 453 Monday through Friday. The Director’s door is always open to families. The Director is outside greeting students and parents at the main entrance every morning between 7:30 and 8:00am Monday through Friday. Families are welcome to contact the Director, Irene Epp, at email@example.com or by phone at 079 552 345.
